Congress Risks 37,000 Jobs To Appease Special Interests

There was a great piece on NPR this morning about the connection between the wind energy tax credit and jobs.

Yes, I know, NPR is often criticized as being a tool of the left. Although I would argue that the only tools in the media are those who seek to slow progress by disseminating misinformation. And there are plenty.

Opinions aside, there is no doubt that the domestic wind energy industry relies heavily on those tax credits to compete against the various fossil fuel industries that have been subsidized for decades. Interestingly, some wind turbine companies claim they only need the tax credits for another four years before being able to compete without further federal help.

This is something the fossil fuel industries have yet to accomplish!
