Climate change deniers don't want to hear it.

They don't buy that man has anything to do with a changing climate. Although you'll be hard-pressed to find many with any kind of credible data to back up their claims.

And the truth is, most denier arguments tend to come from researchers who are directly or indirectly connected to the fossil fuel industry or from politicians, also funded by fossil fuel interests.

But none of that matters. Because the empty rhetoric and partisan-driven debate continues to keep us from taking any significant action on climate change. Meanwhile, extreme weather has gripped the nation this year, and many are wondering if perhaps this could be a warning sign of what's to come; the result of a warming planet and a government run not by the people, but by Big Oil and King Coal.

So is there a link between climate change and extreme weather?

My friends, we may not have to wait too long for the answer to that question.
