Oil Sands Pipeline

Is The Oil Sands Pipeline Worth The Cost?

For years we have talked about the downside of oil sands operations. Specifically the water issues associated with those operations in Alberta.

Of course, environmental issues don't typically trump the need for cheap energy. It's sad, but very true.

So certainly we were surprised to see that 50 members of Congress have recently asked the State Department to take a closer look at the environmental impacts of a proposed 2,000-mile pipeline that's intended to carry tar sands oil from Canada to the United States.

Obama insider John Podesta even said that this fuel source “cannot be our energy future.”

There's some great coverage on this today from Stacy Feldman, who in the past has written a number of eye-opening pieces on energy and peak oil.

As investors, it's important that we stay on top of these developments. So I urge you to check out the article here.

To a new way of life, and a new generation of wealth. . .
