Spilling The Beans On Electric Cars, Episode 3

In just two years, Mitsubishi's electric car went from high-priced field trial to one of the most affordable electric cars on the road.

It was a few years ago when the Mitsubishi “i” was little more than something being used in experimental trials. This is back when it was still called the I MiEV (it's still called the I MiEV in Japan), and few folks even knew that Mitsubishi was even building electric cars.

This was also around the time when Robert Llewellyn, the host of my new favorite show Fully Charged picked one up for himself and shared his driving experience with viewers.

Check it out. . .

One of the more interesting parts of this episode is when Llewellyn discusses the extremely high price for the vehicle. Just a couple of years ago, this vehicle was completely out of reach for most folks looking to buy an electric car. Today, at least in the U.S., it's one of the most affordable electric cars on the market. Not too shabby!
