‘Going green' is a huge project established by many nations to preserve the environment. It has taken several steps to protect the environment from being eradicated. Government takes a great amount of effort to deal with this situation. Several programs are made to act actively. The President of United States of America, Barack Obama has promised to transform many of the industries and companies to regenerating outsource and provide more jobs. Even the United Nation wants to have at least 1 percent of nature's environmental initiatives. This opportunity is widely promoted by several countries. Many different ideas are formulated to jump-start the economy and help the global crisis.

The most important issue is the pollution, which is caused by the transportation means, industries, factories, and much more. The pollution has been around for last 3 centuries. It cannot be solved in one day or in a year. But reducing the production of several kinds of pollution is possible. Such as most industries creating anti-carbon regulation in generating electricity or we use solar energy in cars instead of the petroleum and fuel. But to begin this movement is quiet risky for many reasons. It's like starting an anti-carbon regulation may cause of several losses of jobs which will create economic financial crisis. It may get expensive and cause higher electricity prices. Even though there are many back flaws several attempts, the hope of going green is still in success.

Alternative energy is being introduced in many places. It is started in smaller content by United States government and eventually walks up to their goal. They increased most of the renewable resource to use less of coals and gasoline. The use of the ‘corn belt' is practiced in few industries instead of the gasoline fuel. This method is not only solving the consumption of non-renewable resource but also erecting the ethanol production. Ethanol has far more carbon substance than a gasoline would content, which may cause propping of crops. Even moving in to the hydrogen fuel cell is really very efficient, which is used in cars now-a-day.

Sustainability is key of the reducing the effects of the environmental issues. It is our job to protect our Mother Earth. Everyone's act is united to build up a huge effect. Reducing the overuse of excessive fuel energy will help to protect the environment. I would encourage everyone of us to participate in the ‘green going' project and help to protect the nature.

Editor's Note: From solar and wind to geothermal and biofuels, Green Chip readers want to know which renewable energy resource will take over where fossil fuels leave off. The answer is...all of the above!

There is no one single solution to today's energy crisis. However, the combination of all viable renewable energy resources, coupled with energy efficiency, conservation and smart grid development will not only lead us to energy independence and a cleaner, more sustainable energy infrastructure — but also to what will soon prove to be the greatest investment opportunity of the 21st Century.
