When you're connected like this...Success is Inevitable!

It was about 10:30 in the morning when I got off the phone with the head honchos over at Alternative Energy Sources (AENS.OB), Mark Beemer and Lee Blank.

I’m telling you…whenever I talk to these guys, I just become more and more confident that as a long-term investment, this one will payoff for us.

When you look at the big picture, AENS is in a league of its own.

Not only do these guys have the logistics and commodities angle mastered – but even their Board of Directors is superior to practically every other ethanol play out there.

You have…

Mike Espy – former secretary of the US Department of Agriculture (this guy’s very well connected to the democrats right now)

John McNamara – former global president of ADM

W. Gordon Snyder – former head of sales and marketing at American Century Investments

Douglas Wilner – energy big whig touting 25 years experience in the energy business, including biofuels

James Spigarelli – President & CEO of the Midwest Research Institute (MRI). As head of the MRI, Spigarelli leads a staff of 1,800 scientists and other professionals who are now conducting research in nearly 50 disciplines of science and technology. This includes overseeing renewable fuels research at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). The NREL is part of the Department of Energy that’s been given the task of putting the nation on the path to energy security.

For such a small company, this is huge.

In fact, you’d be hard-pressed to find any other ethanol firm out there that can boast such a diverse group with this kind of experience, talent and connections.

I’d put these guys up over any corporate behemoth, even ADM, any day of the week.

Jeff

Editor's Note: From solar and wind to geothermal and biofuels, Green Chip readers want to know which renewable energy resource will take over where fossil fuels leave off. The answer is...all of the above!

There is no one single solution to today's energy crisis. However, the combination of all viable renewable energy resources, coupled with energy efficiency, conservation and smart grid development will not only lead us to energy independence and a cleaner, more sustainable energy infrastructure — but also to what will soon prove to be the greatest investment opportunity of the 21st Century.
